About the Role:
As a Data Analyst at OurParkingSpace, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets related to parking space usage, user behavior, and market trends. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, providing valuable recommendations to improve our products, services, and operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Management:
Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data validation and cleansing.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Analyze parking space utilization, user behavior, and market trends to identify patterns and insights.
Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to forecast demand and optimize resource allocation.
Create insightful reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and initiatives.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and present clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities based on data analysis.
Business Intelligence and Strategy:
Support the development of business intelligence tools and dashboards.
Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies for product development, marketing, and operations.
Assist in identifying and documenting key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a technology or related industry. Â
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, or similar.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Â
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Â
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with geospatial data and analysis is a plus.
