Job Summary:
OurParkingSpace is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to parking patterns, user behavior, market trends, and operational efficiency. This role will play a crucial part in providing actionable insights to inform business strategies, optimize product features, improve user experience, and drive growth.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources, including our platform, APIs, and external databases.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders across different departments (e.g., product, marketing, operations, sales).
Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, parking space utilization, pricing strategies, and marketing campaign performance.
Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in product features, operational processes, and business strategies.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Support A/B testing initiatives by analyzing results and providing recommendations.
Proactively identify and investigate business questions and provide data-backed answers.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data analysis, data visualization, and relevant technologies.
Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase).
Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (e.g., Python with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy; or R).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in business analysis.
Experience with A/B testing methodologies and analysis is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
