I am a passionate and driven second-year M.Sc. Data Science student with a strong foundation in data processing, analysis, and modeling. My academic journey has given me a well-rounded skill set in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Apache Spark, allowing me to transform complex datasets into actionable insights.
During my internship at NIT Patna, I worked on a toll plaza vehicle detection project, where I applied deep learning models like Faster R-CNN and VGG16 for object detection and feature extraction. By optimizing workflows and implementing a custom classifier, I improved model accuracy through data augmentation and class balancing. This hands-on experience not only refined my technical expertise but also strengthened my problem-solving abilities, as I was able to tackle real-world data challenges head-on.
In addition to my internship, I have worked on a variety of academic projects that have further shaped my data science skills. One such project is Zomato Data Analysis, where I explored restaurant ratings, votes, and online ordering preferences, extracting valuable insights that can help businesses make data-driven decisions.
Similarly, through Coca-Cola Sales Insights, I leveraged Power BI to create intuitive dashboards and visualize key metrics, helping to uncover sales trends and regional performance.
What excites me most about data science is the endless potential to apply analytical thinking and cutting-edge technology to solve meaningful, real-world problems. Whether it’s optimizing workflows, uncovering business insights, or building predictive models, I am eager to contribute my growing skill set to data science projects that make a tangible impact. I am constantly learning, experimenting, and evolving as a data scientist, and I look forward to bringing this enthusiasm and passion to exciting opportunities in the field.

Education
As a student of MSc Data Science at Amity University Gurgaon, I have gained a solid foundation in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The course covers a wide range of topics, including statistical analysis, data visualization, data mining, predictive modeling, and deep learning. Through hands-on projects, I have honed my skills in working with large datasets, performing exploratory data analysis (EDA), and applying machine learning algorithms to real-world problems. The program also emphasizes programming languages like Python, R, and SQL, along with tools like Power BI and TensorFlow, enabling me to develop and deploy data-driven solutions effectively. Additionally, I have learned the importance of ethical data practices, along with techniques to communicate insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work & Experience
During my internship at NIT Patna under Dr. Rajib Ghosh, I worked on a vehicle detection system for toll plazas. My responsibilities included: Developing a Faster R-CNN model for vehicle detection and classification, utilizing deep learning techniques to detect vehicles in toll plaza images. Applying data augmentation and class balancing strategies to improve the model’s accuracy and robustness, ensuring better generalization across different datasets. Using VGG16 for feature extraction to enhance model performance and extract key vehicle features for accurate detection. Optimizing the system for real-time applications, improving detection speed and accuracy for practical toll plaza deployment. The internship provided hands-on experience in object detection, deep learning, and real-time system optimization, where I significantly contributed to the project’s success.
