I am a Civil Engineer by education and a Human Resources Assistant by profession. I did my Master’s in Water Resources Engineering, a branch of Civil Engineering. I started working as a freelancer after completing my Master’s, then I got an opportunity to work with Amazon as a Human Resources Assistant. I worked with amazon for a year. The major work I performed during my time was maintain day to day activities of the Office, listening to employee grievances and acting towards mitigating those issues. The issues mainly were attendance, shift changes, compensation, worker’s compensation, ethics hotline, garnishments, taxes, onboarding and hiring of candidates, taking exit interviews, leave requests and also workforce management.
Then, I worked with an ed tech organisation, named Lido Learning, as a Business Development Associate. I worked towards making sales and also sales pitch. I made sales of around 22 lakhs during my time and brought profit for the organisation.
