In 2022, Lenskart partnered with Owndays and took a majority stake in the Japanese-owned

eyewear player that has a deep presence in Asia. With this partnership, we have added an additional

400 stores and extended our reach to 13 countries

Job requirements

Production Oversight
Assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes.
Ensure that production schedules are adhered to and that products are manufactured on time and within budget.
Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Team Management
Supervise and provide guidance to production staff, including operators, technicians, and line workers.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating production personnel.
Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and team-building activities.
Quality Control
Ensure that production meets the company’s quality standards.
Work with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality control procedures.
Address and resolve any production issues that affect product quality.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Investigate and report on any safety incidents or near misses.
Resource Management
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Optimize the use of production resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
