As the HR Manager, you will be instrumental in building a positive and productive work environment, aligning our human capital strategies with our business goals, and ensuring compliance with all Indian labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, select, and onboard top talent, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a harmonious and supportive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting open communication and respect.

  • Performance Management: Design, implement, and oversee performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to employees and managers for continuous development and goal achievement.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness, internal equity, and compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., minimum wage, EPF, Gratuity, Bonus).

  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills, foster professional growth, and support succession planning.

  • HR Policy & Compliance: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company’s values and all applicable Indian labor laws, including but not limited to the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, Factories Act, and Shops and Establishments Act.

  • HR Administration: Oversee all HR administrative tasks, including payroll support, record-keeping, and HR system management.

  • Culture & Engagement: Champion company values, promote diversity and inclusion, and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and satisfaction.

  • Strategic HR: Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy and contribute to organizational growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

  • Proven work experience (5+ years) as an HR Manager, preferably within a growing company in India.

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • A proactive, empathetic, and problem-solving approach to HR challenges.
