Maintenance Repair Technician – CNC 2nd Shift

Shift hours from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Dismantle, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical components, replacing any worn or faulty parts, and reassemble systems in line with industry safety standards.
  • Utilize foundational knowledge of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode) to adjust machinery to precise specifications and ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze machine cycles, identify malfunction causes, and execute necessary repairs by applying a blend of machine repair and electrical theory.
  • Conduct electrical testing and validation of repaired equipment.
  • Interpret and work from complex schematics, manuals, and testing protocols.
  • Troubleshoot defective printed circuit assemblies and perform related mechanical or electrical tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor for irregularities, reporting anything unusual to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Exercise sound judgment in following instructions, routines, and making necessary decisions on the job.

What You Bring to the Role:

Required Qualifications:

  • Journeyman status or a minimum of three (3) years of documented experience in CNC repair and maintenance within an industrial electrical/mechanical setting.
  • Proficiency with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and the ability to read blueprints.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four (4) years or more of documented CNC repair and maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade.
  • A background in machining and electrical equipment is advantageous.
  • An associate degree in electronics combined with mechanical experience or relevant military electronics experience.
  • Experience working with hydraulic systems.
