Puja Samadhan is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources functions for our Los Angeles location. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader who can align our people strategy with business goals, ensuring a supportive and productive work environment that reflects our company’s spiritual and cultural values. You’ll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and disputes, fostering a positive and respectful workplace culture.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave, and retirement plans. Conduct regular salary reviews and maintain competitive compensation structures.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to managers on performance reviews, professional development, and disciplinary actions.
Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain and update the employee handbook and other HR documentation.
Training & Development: Identify training needs and organize professional development programs to help employees grow within the company.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role.
In-depth knowledge of California and federal employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and applicant tracking software.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
